Inverted Nipples Correction
Inverted nipples and areola correction surgery is less extensive than augmentation or breast uplift surgery. It usually involves a simple procedure, which requires either a local or a light general anaesthetic, and patients usually experience relatively little postoperative discomfort. Best of all, results are usually permanent, unlike other procedures which are likely to require further surgery within ten to fifteen years in order to maintain results.
Inverted nipples and areola correction surgery offers a range of options, which can be applied individually or in combination, and can have an excellent aesthetic effect. Both men and women opt for nipple correction to address problems with prominent, wide areola, enlarged nipples, which may protrude or look uneven, or even be inverted.
As many as two per cent of the population suffer from ‘inverted nipples’, which may respond to stimulation such as massage or cooler temperatures, or may be more permanently embedded in the breast tissue. For many people, the size and shape of the nipple can affect confidence when wearing tight clothing, or in more intimate situations.

What happens during the initial consultation at New Image Clinic?
When you come to the clinic to meet Mr Juma and Mr Hayek, a full medical history will be taken and you will undergo a physical examination. This is just to ensure that the procedure is right for you and the best option to achieve optimum results. You will be able to ask questions and discuss your desired outcome with the surgeons, which will enable you to make an informed choice about whether you wish to proceed.
What is the recovery process?
Nipple correction is a day surgery procedure, so recovery is usually rapid. You can return to work almost immediately, but should avoid strenuous exercise for two to three weeks whilst your body is healing.
