Breast Uplift
Breast uplift surgery objective is to improve the fullness of your breasts improving your confidence in the process. This could also be your preferred option if you have concerns about implants, or implants are not required to achieve your desired size from surgery. Breast uplift surgery can also be augmented with implants in the upper breast to restore plumpness to the tissue if necessary. Another alternative is fat transfer to your uplifted breasts, which can achieve a natural look.
‘Mastopexy‘ is the medical term for breast uplift surgery, which lifts and improves the outline of the breast. This procedure is often chosen by the more mature woman, or a woman with slightly larger breasts that may have begun to ‘sag’ or ‘droop’ with the passage of time. You may already have a perfectly full cup size but find that gravity has taken its toll and you have lost both volume and tone in your breast tissue. Sometimes this procedure is chosen by younger women, who feel that the experience of pregnancy and breastfeeding has adversely affected the fullness and volume of their breasts. Women following weight loss may also feel that their breast have emptied and drooped, which makes them a candidate for breast uplift surgery with implants and/or fat transfer.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a breast uplift procedure?
During the breast uplift procedure, our surgeons, Mr Juma and Mr Hayek, will reshape the breast so that it looks and feels more firm. You will be in surgery, under a general anaesthetic, for approximately two to three hours. This procedure may also require an overnight hospital stay.
What are the risks involved with mastopexy?
As with all surgery, there can be risks, side effects and potential complications. These will be discussed carefully with you during your initial consultation at New Image Clinic before you make a decision to undergo this procedure. It is worth noting at this point, that if choosing competent, experienced and leading cosmetic surgeons such as those at New Image Clinic, the associated surgery risks are definitely minimised.
How much does breast uplift surgery cost?
The procedure can cost £6,000-£7700, depending upon individual factors such as whether you choose to have an additional breast augmentation with breast implants. If fat transfer is the desired option with the breasts uplift this will be costed on individual basis.
What happens during the initial consultation at New Image Clinic?
A detailed medical history will be taken by Mr Juma and Mr Hayek, alongside a thorough physical examination. Our surgeons want to be certain that this procedure will be right for you. They will also encourage you to ask questions about any worries or concerns that you may have, so that you are completely at ease with your decision if you decide to proceed.
What is the recovery process?
You might be required to stay in hospital overnight following your surgery and should expect some initial discomfort.
